Article 1/ War dollars

Linda Bilmes and Joseph Stiglitz, We are wasting to many dollars on the war in Iraq It has added up to 3 trillion dollars. We have been paying for a lot of what is Iraqs issue.The people today do not understand what has been happening their a lot of the time. Whenever a young soldier dies, his family gets 500,000 dollars. And us americans cannot compensate that money. We do not have the Money!

I agree with Linda and Joseph; because, we really don't have the money and where are we going to get the money to pay off the debt our leaders have lead us to. We can't compensate 500,000 dollars to every young citizen that has died in combat, but we can find ways to give the families benefits. Bush tried telling us people that the war was no sacrifice and that we would be prosperous in it, but really we are not; because, we have wasted so many dollars on the war, that money could have been used to something that us people actually needed.
